Born in Singapore and raised in Germany by a French mother and German father, Angie came to the U.S. at age 19. After moving from upstate New York to Santa Cruz, California, in 2000, she discovered acupuncture and Qi Gong, setting her on a path toward studying the healing arts.
Angie earned her Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in 2005 and became a California State Board Licensed Acupuncturist the following year. She brings over 20 years of clinical experience to her work and has been practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2006.
Over the years, Angie’s work has evolved into an integrative approach that honors the connection between physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. She completed an extensive two-year certification in Bioenergy Balancing with Priscilla Kapel. Later, she received her Reiki I and II attunements from Reiki Master Geneviève Vulser.
Today, Angie offers acupuncture, cupping, Reiki, and spiritual coaching, combining her clinical experience with warmth, intuition, and a deeply personalized approach to care. Reiki is available both in person and remotely and may also be incorporated into acupuncture treatments.
Angie’s areas of focus include stress and pain management, mental and emotional wellbeing, women’s health, pregnancy support, digestive concerns, athletic recovery and performance, and cancer support. She also frequently works with people navigating significant life changes, periods of uncertainty, or a desire for deeper personal growth.
At the heart of Angie’s work is the belief that healing involves more than addressing symptoms. She strives to create a supportive space where clients feel genuinely seen and cared for while gaining greater awareness of the patterns that may be affecting their health and wellbeing.
Known for her warmth, presence, intuitive approach, and expert cupping skills, Angie especially loves working with people who are active participants in their own healing. Helping her clients feel better, reconnect with themselves, and live their lives more fully is her greatest reward.
